Personal Care Assistant
Direct Payments ↗Live in Carer, 3 days on / 5 Days off or 2 days on / 6 days off (negotiable) required for elderly couple in Ponteland area. Lady has Parkinson’s / dementia and requires assistance with washing, dressing and other aspects of personal care. Administration of medication, light housework and cooking would also be required. Wage is @ £225 per day plus mileage, food allowance and additional expenses. Actual working days / hours vary as we operate a rolling rota. We also have day time carers who help out most days for 2-3 hours. Experience of care work, specifically Parkinsons / dementia care, preferable but not essential. Ability to work as part of a team and a caring, compassionate personality is a must. We are looking for someone to start as soon as possible.
