Food Production Assistant - Barking

HR GO Recruitment are recruiting for a Food Production Assistant on behalf of our client located in Barking, Essex.

Our client supplies pre-prepared fruit and vegetables to large, prestigious hotels and events.

As a Food Production Assistant you will be working in a temperature controlled kitchen environment, working in a standing position for long periods of time.

Duties:

• Peeling and chopping fruit and vegetables by hand.
• Weighing and packing the produce.
• Cleaning and washing up.

Due to the nature of this business and the necessary Food Hygiene requirements, candidates are not permitted to wear any jewellery including facial piercings, false nails and eyelashes are also not allowed. Appropriate PPE will be provided including hairnet, overalls, latex gloves and boots.

Hours: 10am to 6pm or 9am to 5pm.

Working week: The company is Open Monday to Friday. Closed on Saturdays. Open on Sundays. Candidates must be able to work 5 days per week including every Sunday with a day off during the week.

Pay: £10.00 per hour.
