Kingswood Medical Centre are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic part-time receptionist (20 hours per week) to join our busy but well established team.
The main duties include:
Receive, assist and direct patients in accessing the appropriate service or healthcare professional in a courteous, efficient and effective way either via telephone or face to face contact.
Provide general assistance to the practice team and project a positive and friendly image to patients and other visitors, either in person, via email or via the telephone.
About the Candidate
We are looking for a receptionist to join our busy practice team and help make a positive impact on our local community.
Applicants should have excellent communication, organisational and IT skills with a positive approach and are able to work on their own initiative and to be able to multitask.
Previous healthcare or customer service experience would be an advantage. Knowledge of SystemOne is important.
You must be flexible and willing to work morning and afternoon hours, and holiday and sickness cover is essential.
About Us
We are a friendly, supportive, well organised and enthusiastic GMS Practice, dedicated to providing traditional family orientated General Practice based in Basildon. We currently have approximately 9500 patients, 2 Partners, 2 Salaried GP’s, a great nursing support team and a vast array of administrative staff.
We are consistent high achievement in all QOF and Enhanced Services areas with an innovative team structure with individual patient lists. We operate the SystmOne computer system.
