Full Job Description

As the Lead Senior Carer, you will have responsibility for assisting the manager in the day to day running of the Home and care team. As part of the senior carer team you will have responsibility for ensuring that the home operates successfully ensuring the best possible care is provided to our residents.

In the role of Lead Senior Carer we would expect you to have a "hands on approach" to working with the Care Assistant teams ensuring we apply the highest standards of modern and professional practice, ensuring all the needs of the residents are individually catered for, with particular emphasis for emotional, spiritual, nursing and physical requirements.

This role is mainly Monday-Friday however there will cover needed for some weekends. Most shifts will be from 8am-4pm.

A typical day will start at 8am and finish at 4pm. 8am-2pm on rota as a senior carer, then 2pm-4pm assisting the manager.

The late shift will start at 12pm and finish at 8pm. 12pm-2pm will be assisting the manager, then 2pm-8pm as a senior carer.

The applicant must have a clear and thorough knowledge of CQC standards.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £25,000.00 per year
