Industrial door engineers mate (EXETER EX2)

INDUSTRIAL DOOR & ROLLER SHUTTER ENGINEER’S MATE – BASIC SALARY UP TO £25,000 - £35,000 + OVERTIME

Blount Shutters is a large independent industrial door company operating for over 30 years. We repair, maintain and manufacture all types of industrial doors including roller shutters, sectional doors, fire exits and others. We also provide a 24hr emergency repair service NATIONWIDE to a number of clients that have premises all over the country.

We are seeking to employ an Engineers’ Mate to support an experienced engineer. This is a full-time, permanent role where you will receive onsite training.

• Full time, permanent position (overtime available including nightwork and Sundays with an increased hourly rate)
• Starting salary up to £35,000 per annum (offer corporate bonus and reward schemes)
• Full PPE and uniform, holidays, pension, and tools provided

What we ask for

• Driving licence – preferred but not essential
• To work on a call out rota within this position
• Reliable and keen to learn from and with an experienced engineer
• Good communication skills (written and verbal)

Role and responsibilities

• This position will include working on industrial, sectional and steel doors therefore knowledge across all of these is advantageous
• The role will entail travelling to attend site alongside engineer, fault finding, estimating repair requirements, fault diagnosis or carrying out a full maintenance.
