Trainee Underwriters Assistant
Are you a recent A-level student or Graduate looking for your first step into Insurance?
My client is a Lloyd's Syndicate looking to appoint an Underwriting Assistant to help with day-to-day administration in their Underwriting team
Position: Underwriting Assistant (Treaty or Personal Accident)
Salary: £25,000-£28,000 + Benefits Location: City
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Day to day assistance to Underwriters
- To achieve the required standard for all risk entries/document scanning and maintain all records required to produce an accurate Underwriting database
- Liaise with Credit Control to ensure all premium and bordereaux issues are in order
- Monitor renewal list and liaise with underwriter & broker to ensure all renewal risks are followed up
- Produce the required documentation for the Syndicate
- SLAs for slips and endorsements
- Assist with the purchasing of reinsurance placements and any issues that may arise
- Reporting across claims data, aggregates, UMC reports
