Our client, a Lloyd’s syndicate are seeking a Climate Analyst to join their Analytics team in an extremely interesting role.

This is a new role in a new team, and they are seeking a bright, curious, high quality numerate graduate, expert at identifying problems and offering solutions.

The role will sit within a small team of analysts who work in collaboration within Underwriting and Investment, tasked with providing cover for sustainable insurance business (such as renewable energy etc ), as part of the move towards net zero.

This means dealing with topics that are not on everyone’s radar (like carbon credit for instance), and being flexible and adaptable to new concepts and ambiguity. The role will require research and a thirst for knowledge.

The successful candidate will have a numerate background with ideally a First class degree from a Russell Group university, excellent grades at A Level including Maths, with a solid understanding and interest in climate issues and/or sustainable finance. You also need to be highly organised, a critical thinker and avid problem solver - ideally a keen chess player to a high standard!

There is potential for travel to global offices as the role progresses.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £30,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
