Production Assistant

We are delighted to be working with our client who are a successful manufacturer based on the outskirts of Ipswich who are looking to recruit a full time Production Assistant.

The Production Assistant's Primary Objectives are to:

• Support production planning and control
• Ensure production documents and spreadsheets are kept up to date to customers and company specification
• Process customer orders and raise product working instructions
• Stock control
• Raise purchase orders
• Communicate with Production Office, Setting Staff/ Quality Inspectors and Warehouse Staff
• Cover production during absences or holiday
• Be confident and competent in using computer programmes- Microsoft 365 applications/ writing emails professionally
• Using Pegasus Opera 3 software for stock control and order processing (in-house training will be given if no previous experience)
• Assist colleagues within other areas of the business as the business needs require
• To operate within and adhere to the company's Health and Safety Policy in all aspects of the role
• Ensure PPE is worn at the start of the shift and throughout
