ShortList has an exciting opportunity for a Junior Cyber Security Engineer to work for a market leading business in Chester.
You will be responsible for monitoring, managing, and maintaining the security of the IT infrastructure. As a Junior Cyber Security Engineer, you will be reporting to the Cyber Security Manager and have a keen interest in cyber security with an enthusiasm for personal and professional growth.
The Junior Cyber Security Engineer will work at a market-leading company with cutting edge technology. This role would be ideal for someone with some experience in a cyber security or infrastructure role, or a Graduate with an IT related degree looking to start a career in cyber security.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor security status on systems and tools
- Manage compliance and communicate any issues
- Cyber security reports and administration
- IT systems and network configuration, specific to Cyber threat and remediation
- Understanding of GDPR and other regulations
The Cyber Security Engineer role is paying up to £30,000 plus great benefits and flexibility. This position is remote first with a requirement to visit the Chester office up to one day per week. The office is easily commutable from Liverpool, Wirral, Wrexham and Runcorn.
