Trainee Traffic Management Operative

We are now looking for a Trainee Traffic Management Operative to join the team.

Responsible for working with both the direct labour and sub-contract labour, meeting targets and deadlines on time. These include the operation of Traffic Lights and plant, where trained and certificated. Also various other aspects of Traffic Management.

Key accountabilities

• To work to the Lantra accreditation.
• Closing roads
• Being able to read and interpret CAD traffic management drawings.
• Setting up Lane Closures.
• Setting up traffic lights.
• Maintaining and remove traffic management within the required time scales.
• Site clearance.
• Assisting with the diversion of traffic.
• To ensure the team works in a safe and effective manner to achieve optimum output and to the required quality.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety at Work Act at all times.

Skills & experience

• Ability to use initiative
• Good standard of English
