Banksman

Adecco are currently looking for a Traffic Marshall to work for our client in Bolton

Duties:

• Managing daily delivery & collection schedules
• Liaising with Warehouse, logistics, traffic departments and delivery drivers
• Observing vehicles and loads
• Ensuring paperwork is completed by drivers
• Sourcing alternative transport in the event of failed collections
• Contacting traffic/account managers to chase late collections and sourcing alternative transport in the event of a failed collection.
• Tracking, booking, cancelling, amending deliveries
• Monitor and record the loading capacity of parcel carrier collections.

Skills/knowledge:

• Previous 'Banksman' experience is desirable
• Excellent organisational, planning and time management skills
• Verbal and written communication skills
• IT literate

Job Type: Temporary-Permanent

Days: Monday-Friday

Hours: 6am-2pm OR 2pm-10pm

Salary: £10.61ph-£11.61ph
