Sewing Machinist / Seamstress

We are 3rd Rail, one of London’s leading screen garment printing and companies. We are currently looking for an experienced seamstress to fill our part time position. You must be someone that is familiar with fabrics and a variety of stitching techniques. The ideal candidate will be able to handle the seamstress's large workload and work towards deadlines. We're looking for someone with a casual, friendly attitude and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:

• Use a machine to sew garments.
• Adhere to safety regulations regarding use of the sewing machine.
• Stay up to date on labels' requirements for clothing.
• Use a sewing machine and serger to create clothing items from start to finish.
• Tailor garments as needed.
• General Finishing which could include Heat pressing and Folding & Bagging.
• The candidate must be available at least 3 to 5 days per week.

Job Types: Part-time, Freelance

Salary: £13.00 per hour

Experience:

• Machinist: 1 year (preferred)
