Full Job Description
An outstanding opportunity has arisen for a Finance Assistant / Junior Accountant with a leading real estate development company to support their growing commercial fit-out business.
This business has been enjoying a sustained period of exponential growth and have identified the recruitment of a Finance Assistant / Junior Accountant as a critical hire to progress the continued growth of this exciting business.
You will play a pivotal role supporting the team and project managers with detailed financial information monitoring the progress of a strong pipeline of major fit-out projects, key responsibilities will include;
Successful candidates will have acquired practical experience as a Finance Assistant or Junior Accountant preferably from a fit-out or construction business.
In addition, you will have either a degree in Accounting & Finance 2:1 and above or educated to AAT Level 3 and above with AP/AR, Tax (VAT or CIS) and month end reporting experience.

- Assist with finalizing project budgets
- Monitor and review the financial expenditure of key projects on weekly, monthly and quarterly basis
- Raise sales invoices
- Set-up new suppliers
- Log and process supplier payments invoice approval
- Calculate and process VAT and CIS returns
- Evaluate variances between forecasted and actual expenditure
- Assist with the preparation of month end reporting and management accounts
Successful candidates will have acquired practical experience as a Finance Assistant or Junior Accountant preferably from a fit-out or construction business.
