Finance Assistant

Our client is in the forex education industry, they are hiring for a finance assistant to help and work alongside the CFO. The finance assistant will be an active operator within a matrixed leadership structure.

Main responsibilities:

• Issuing invoices and receipts to clients
• Assisting with bookkeeping
• Reporting to the CFO
• Being in contact with colleagues across the world, making the job more enjoyable
• Updating account information and records of clients

The successful candidate will have the following desirable skills:

• Strong accounting knowledge and experience
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience working at a technology or services-based firm.
• Strong working knowledge of Xero is a must if not, experience in QuickBooks or other web-based accounting software may be an exception.
• Comfortable using Excel and Google Sheets, Google Sheets should be learnt within 3 months of hire if you are not familiar with it already
• Comfortable using and learning new tools
• Strong bookkeeping experience is a must, high attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills are need
