Data Governance/Data Management Lead
ARC IT Recruitment ↗Our client, a leading digital marketplace, is currently recruiting a Data Governance Lead who will report directly to the Head of BI and Data Analytics. Building relationships across the data & analytics team as well as with key business data owners, you'll work as part of a team contributing to the wider BI strategy of delivering clarity consistency, quality and control. Their data is held on AWS data lake, and in a process of implementing a Data Hub.
The role
- Help define and manage their data better.
- Design and implement Data Management strategy across the data estate
- Support and champion the goal of using data as a strategic asset
- Create and chair a data Steering Committee and implement data management monitoring, reporting and KPI's
What we're looking for
- A proven track record of designing & implementing a Data Management/Governance solution in a modern cloud environment.
- Broad knowledge and deep practical experience in data management disciplines.
- Proven experience of working effectively with stakeholders in specialist and technical roles, including Data Engineering.
- Proven experience of working collaboratively across boundaries to secure buy-in and create solutions that work for all stakeholders.
