Caretaker/Maintenance

A CARETAKER

£10.50 (rising to £11.00 after completion of 6 months probationary period)

We are looking to recruit a Caretaker to carry out general cleaning, security and caretaking duties on a student city centre development of 407 beds. These duties will include cleaning of stairwells, security, carrying out repairs, reporting faults, making access arrangements for contractors and prospective new tenants whilst liaising with residents and office staff in order to maintain the development to a high standard.

The position includes mornings and afternoons that will be worked on a rotation basis.

The successful candidate must be self-motivated, be able to work on their own initiative, to prioritise workloads and respond to emergencies when called upon. For this position previous relevant experience is desirable. You will need good communication skills together with a caring, responsible and flexible approach.
