Video Editor

We’re looking for a Video Editor to join one of Manchester’s best video agencies with a great client list and team culture.

Our Client

One of Manchester’s best video agencies, with a great culture and working environment, their ethos is to have fun with their work. They also invest in the best technology and facilities so they can focus on doing what they do best – that’s why they own a cinema-level RED camera, 100s of props, new servers and a brand new 4000 sq ft studio space. They predominantly work with sport, lifestyle and food brands, across Social, TV and Out of Home content. Due to the role and the collaborative nature of the team, they are predominantly office based, but they offer flexi time around core hours of 10am to 4pm, and generally work from home one day per fortnight.

The Role

You’ll be working on editing everything from 10 second social ads to 10 minute long form branded content. You’ll be organising post-production workload, dealing with clients to refine edits, sourcing relevant music, creating motion graphics assets, as well as helping to develop new processes and improve workflow.

You

You’re an editor happy to get involved in all levels of projects and help take their post-production offering to the next level. You’ll apply the same level of creativity, attention to detail to all projects, large and small. Self-motivated, you’ll be able to jump between multiple projects at once without dropping the ball. You should have a minimum of 2 years’ editing experienced within an agency or studio environment with core skills across Premiere Pro and After Effects, with your skills also including Sound Design and basic Colour Grading. Ideally you understand brands and are capable of manipulating graphics within After Effects, making creative decisions based on what works for a brand. You should be keen on developing your skills and role, keen to push what the agency do in post-production.
