Job Title: Warehouse Stock Assistant
Job Location: Gateshead, NE8 1SR
Core hours: 45 hours per week
Job Type: Permanent
Salary: £10.42 per hour
The Role:
The role is 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday and Sunday, Saturday off.
Key responsibilities:
- Taking delivery of goods and supplies.
- Checking for damaged or missing items.
- Stock put-aways.
- Moving stock around by hand.
- Order picking/packing and loading/delivering to retail units.
- Receiving/processing internal stock transfers.
- Keeping records of stock.
- Cleaning work and rest areas.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Good time management
- Ability to organise, multitask and prioritize.
- Good attention to detail
- Work well in a fast-paced environment
- Good interpersonal skills and a team player with positive attitude
- Stock room or warehouse experience is desired.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £10.42 per hour
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Newcastle upon Tyne, Tyne and Wear: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
- Warehouse experience: 1 year (preferred)
