Exhibitions and Visitor Assistant

Position: Exhibitions & Visitor Assistant
Reports to: Gallery & Events Co-ordinator
Hours: Part time - 22 hours per week annualised: 9 – 5.30pm, Thursdays and Fridays and alternate weekends (occasional evenings required by prearrangement)
Location: The Base Greenham
Salary: £10,868.00 per annum
Holiday entitlement: 20 days per annum, rising by one day per year to a maximum of 25 days, plus bank holidays (Pro rata if part time)

We’re looking for a friendly and enthusiastic team player to join us as Exhibition & Visitor Assistant at The Base. You’ll play an important part in making sure we provide our visitors with the best experience, whether that is providing a warm welcome, selling tickets or ensuring exhibitions are installed to the highest standard for our audiences to enjoy. The ideal candidate for the role will love working with the public and have experience of working in a customer focused environment. It is a varied job and you will gain skills in customer service, using a ticketing system, as well as learning how exhibitions are installed our vibrant arts centre.
