Cafe cook and customer assitant

This is a hybrid role for our cafe on Gosforth High Street, the role will include;

• Carrying out food prep tasks as assigned by our chefs
• Cooking foods, baking scones, preparing dishes
• Making salads, sandwiches, breakfast items
• Keeping floors and work spaces clean and tidy
• Sanitising food preparation areas
• Ultimately, you’ll help our kitchen adhere to health standards and serve customers faster
• Serving customers on the till
• Willing to learn how to make barista standard coffee

Must be able to work weekends and weekdays. The Cafe is open from 9am til 5pm. The shift patterns are from 8am to 5pm.

The ideal candidate will;

· Be motivated to complete tasks well and have a ‘can do’ attitude

· Be a hard worker who gets the job done quickly and effectively

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 30 - 35 per week

Salary: £10.00-£11.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

• NEWCASTLE UPON TYNE: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
