Cook/Kitchen Assistant

We are looking for a good enthusiastic cook who can follow our recipes and work with us to maintain and develop our excellent standard of food.

We are a vegetarian establishment, but you do not have to be a vegetarian to apply for this job. We are happy to give any necessary help and guidance with recipes. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, enjoys working with food and wants to be part of our hard working team. Experience preferred, but full training in our working methods will be provided.

As cook you will also be expected to do lunch service, maintain a clean hygienic kitchen, be aware of stock requirements and stock rotation. No 2 days are ever the same, we cook and bake as time permits.

We are a friendly, family business and have been established for 25 years. Due to our countryside location we are not on a bus route, so a car is essential for this job. Parking is free. Lunch breaks are paid, with food and drink provided. Some weekend work is essential and shifts are on a rolling rota basis to allow for weekends off. Our working week is Wednesday - Sunday. We need someone who is able to work 2, 3 or 4 days each week, 9am - 5pm.
