Trainee Accountant

Our client, who is a leading and successful firm are seeking to appoint a Trainee Accountant at their offices in Bedale. This would be a perfect fit for an enthusiastic and driven individual, seeking to continue or kickstart your career in an Accountancy role, where study support and further opportunities will be provided. Duties as a Trainee Accountant;

• Carrying out bookkeeping duties
• Using various systems
• Performing balance sheet reconciliations and VAT returns
• Liaising with internal and external parties
• Preparing accounts and tax for a variety of businesses
• Being involved in the audit process
• Relevant general ad-hoc duties

Skills:

• Excellent communication skills on all levels
• The ability to work as part of a team or on your own initiative
• Good knowledge of systems including Microsoft office
• Strong organisational skills
• Some relevant work experience/qualifications (preferred)

To be successful as a Trainee Accountant, you will be a proactive individual with a keen desire to learn. In return you will receive a salary between £20,000 - £25,000 per annum, working Monday to Friday.
