Field Service Engineer - Food Equipment / Machine

SMS Food Equipment Ltd. is seeking a skilled and experienced Butcher Equipment Mechanic to join our team. The Butcher Equipment Mechanic will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing a variety of meat processing and butchery equipment, including bandsaws, vacuum packers, mincers, slicers, and sausage fillers. The successful candidate will work closely with our clients to ensure their equipment is operating at peak performance, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair a variety of meat processing and butchery equipment, including bandsaws, vacuum packers, mincers, slicers, and sausage fillers.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and routine inspections to identify potential issues before they arise.
• Provide on-site technical support during installation, commissioning, and maintenance of equipment.
• Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to develop innovative solutions to complex equipment problems.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance activities.
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in the repair and maintenance of meat processing and butchery equipment, including bandsaws, vacuum packers, mincers, slicers, and sausage fillers.
• Ability to travel to client sites as required.
