Trainee Designer

TRAINEE DESIGNER VACANCY

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a trainee designer within our busy Edinburgh Studio.

Main duties include (but not limited to):

Dealing with enquiries – face-to-face, email and by telephone

Welcoming clients with tea and coffee

Working closely with design team on projects

Detailed, accurate computer design is an essential part of the role (Sketchup or similar experience required)

Core hours are: Saturdays 9am – 5pm and potentially one day mid-week

This position would ideally suit someone currently studying Interior Design/Interior Architecture or who has a strong interest in interiors. There is potential scope to advance the role for the ideal candidate.

The ideal candidate should possess a proactive “can-do” attitude, excellent attention to detail and have a friendly demeanour as the role will involve customer interaction and team working.

Previous experience preferred but not essential as full training will be given.

Salary dependant on experience.
