Compass Homecare is recruiting now for a live-in posting for a service user in the city of Brighton and Hove with our responsive, one-to-one care service that does things differently. We're based and operational in Brighton and the surrounding areas.

The service user is at the heart of what we do, but we recognise that we’re only as good as the carers we employ. As a member of our team, you’ll be responsible for a wide range of tasks that can vary by the day, so an amount of flexibility is required. We support our service users with:

• Personal care
• Appointments
• Medication
• Getting out and about
• Engaging with the community
• Domestic assistance

… And all sorts of other things!

This is a live-in posting on a pattern TBD. On your 'on' weeks you'll live with the service user with your own room, and will be expected to tend to the service user through the day.

The service user has wide and varied needs and, therefore, requires Care Assistants with an appropriate amount of experience of care.

Obviously you’ll need to have a caring personality and strong work ethic, and having a clean and valid driving licence helps, and we can offer flexibility and support to make your job as rewarding as possible. NVQ Lv 2 and 3 available and encouraged.

Essential criteria:

• A caring disposition
• Genuine enthusiasm and a can-do attitude
• Appropriate training/experience

Preferable criteria:

• A clean, full driving licence and use of a car

Salary: £700.00-£900.00 per week
