Job Title: Retail Store Assistant

Location: GBhome & Garden, High Street, Kettering, NN16

Hours: Wednesday 9am - 5pm, Thursday 9am - 5pm & Saturday 10am – 4pm

Salary: Depending on Experience

We are excited to be able to offer a new opportunity for a Retail Store Assistant to join our team in our high street home and garden store.

Role and Responsibilities

- Delivering exceptional sales services for improved customer satisfaction

- Interacting with customers, understanding their needs and preferences to recommend items accordingly

- Maintaining high levels of customer service

- Manage point-of-sale process/operating the till and issue invoices

- Ensuring store is kept clean and tidy, in line with health and safety regulations

- Maintaining stock level and visual merchandising

- Dealing with internet and telephone enquiries

Requirements

- Retail/Customer Service Experience desirable but not essential

- Confident communicator

- Good telephone manner

Applicants must be over the age of 18.

Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 22 per week

Salary: From £10.42 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Overtime
