Wanted: Data Engineer

The ideal candidate for this role will be a hybrid between a Data Engineer who also has an interest in developing their Data Science capabilities and getting involved with the development of Corals IP Propositions.

Responsibilities:

• Prototyping Data Extraction from unstructured data sources
• Build and maintain data pipelines that meet requirements agreement by the Senior Data Leadership team
• Own and be responsible the delivery of the solution, where required, with colleagues and more junior members of the team
• Interest in Data Science and developing solutions that solve an identified business need
• Communicate the current capabilities of our AI and Data engineering solutions to the rest of the business in a way that can be understood by a wide audience
• Work with the Engineering team to ensure all productised data flows meet the requirements of the business and can be surfaced securely and appropriately
• Work with the Product team to design data flows, and solutions that meet the needs of the current sprint

Requirements:

• 2 years+ experience working as a Data Engineer
• Python
• AWS - ETL Processes (Glue, Lambda etc.), ECS, S3, Database Solutions (Redshift, RDS)
• Git
• Containerisation Technologies
• Load Balancing Solutions
• API creation, integration, and maintenance
• User Authentication and Security
• SQL/Postgres
• Agile Development
• NLP
• Unstructured Data Collection, Processing, and Pipeline maintenance
