Transfer Station Chemist

Salary: £26,500 per annum plus Veolia benefits

Hours: Monday - Friday (6-9 month fixed term contract)

Location: Aldridge, West Midlands

What you'll be doing;

• Compliance with all Health and Safety policies and procedures
• Incoming screening of loads and stock control of Transfer Station - Hazmat duties
• Analysis and routing for incoming waste
• Preparing paperwork for outgoing loads
• EA returns for outgoing loads - Quarterly Returns - managing on a daily basis using spreadsheets to update information
• Laboratory smalls - processing, bulking and repacking
• Updating drum figures - KPI reporting at the end of the month
• Controlling outputs from site
• Answering and investigating customer/sales queries

What we're looking for;

• Chemistry degree or equivalent in a relevant qualification
• IOSH working safely and managing safely is advantageous
