Baker

This role requires a hardworking and talented baker for our production kitchen in Wibsey, Bradford, producing high quality Asian baked products. You would need methodical organisational skills, accuracy, attention to detail and understanding of the importance of food quality, health and safety and hygiene regulations.

Tasks required by this job include:

• follows set company procedure in producing bakery products.
• follows recipes as laid out - weighs ingredients/processes according to recipe.
• mixes ingredients, using hand or machine according to guidelines, to obtain the required consistency.
• rolls and cuts pastry, stretches, kneads and moulds dough, using hand or machine according to guidelines, to form bread, rolls and buns etc.
• assist with baking Asian Baked products such as biscuits, cakes, rusks, savoury bakes, etc.
• makes cake decorations, using hand or machine according to guidelines, and spreads icing, fillings, and toppings on products.
• Other ad-hoc tasks as required.

Hours: 39 hrs/week

Our production bakers work Monday to Friday. You will be required to work within a team of production bakers dealing with our Asian Baked Goods section.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £26,900.00-£27,000.00 per year
