Health, Safety and Environment Assistant

We are working with a well-known local employer who have an exciting opportunity for a Health, Safety and Environment Assistant

The Health, Safety and Environment Assistant acts as the first point of contact for all staff on all HSE matters and to assist in providing continual improvement in developing and implementing policies and procedures including providing training on all HSE topics for all relevant staff.

· Preferred NEBOSH General Certificate qualified or working towards qualification

· Preferably 1 – 3 years health and safety experience in a heavy engineering manufacturing environment

· Maintaining HSE in your area of responsibility (role model)

· Monday – Friday 08.00 - 16.30 with half hour for lunch, flexible hours

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £30,867.00-£34,632.00 per year
