Housekeeper/rooms cleaner

Hocus Pocus is a tiny hotel with 5 rooms in the city centre of York, in the Shambles area.

Housekeeper duties and responsibilities:

• Ensure all rooms/bathrooms and common areas are cleaned to a high standard - training will be provided
• Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and property in your work area
• Responsible in reporting at once guests' lost property and maintenance issues
• Accountable for achieving and exceeding our guest satisfaction score
• Ensure all cleaning products are stored safely and securely at all times
• Ensure daily laundry is stored properly
• To comply with P&P Health and Safety policy
• Housekeeping experience within a hotel
• Ability to follow instructions
• Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times
• Basic spoken English is essential as sometimes is necessary to communicate with guests on arrival or departure

Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 8 per week

Salary: From £11.50 per hour
