Trinity Harper Cleaning Ltd is a local business based in Cambridge which provides a world class cleaning service with an industry leading team to ensure that we always exceed our customers’ expectations. Due to continued growth, we are currently recruiting a Contracts Manager to strengthen our management team in Cambridgeshire.

PURPOSE OF JOB:

  • You will be expected to provide clear and directed leadership across your portfolio and ensure that all client requirements are met in accordance with the agreed contract specification.
  • To build an effective partnership with the clients and colleagues.
  • To assist on managing and expanding the existing team, delivering a high-quality cleaning service with a focus on always providing an excellent customer service.
  • Ensure the company image is always maintained.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Previous experience of leading teams of cleaners across several different sites and locations is essential, along with the ability to demonstrate focus on clients and delivering a quality service.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to analyse and present information clearly at all levels.
  • Effective people management skills when developing weaknesses and encouraging growth.
  • Great time management and “can due” attitude.
  • Full driving license is essential.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:

  • Managing day to day delivery of cleaning services across multiple sites in Cambridgeshire.
  • Accountable for adherence to company policies and processes across all locations and ensuring that all the colleagues operate in a safe manner and healthy working environment.
  • Budgetary responsibility to maintain viability of contracts and operating region.
  • Planning and managing teams to ensure all the contracts are fully supported.
  • Ensure correct hours are being worked and recorded for payroll purposes.
  • Ensure material stock levels are maintained and adhered to.
  • Recruiting and training of new employees.
  • Managing sickness and holiday cover.
  • Managing any employee/disciplinary issues through consultation with Peninsula.
  • Ensure high level of customer satisfaction and retention of contracts through closely monitoring standards on site(s).
  • Liaise with customers on a formal and regular basis.
  • Prospecting potential new customers.
  • Surveying, quoting, and delivering and presenting proposal documents.

HOURS OF WORK:

  • Monday—Friday totaling 50 hours per week typically 0530 – 1300 hrs and 1700-1930 hrs. You are expected to manage your own timekeeping and be flexible to the demands of both the business, staff, and clients.

SALARY AND BENEFITS:

  • Annual salary - £41,600 (£16.00 per hour).
  • Overtime rate (Weekends) £27.00 per hour.
  • Holiday 25 plus 8 bank holidays.

  • Commission paid for New Customer Office Cleaning contracts.
