Title: Bodyshop Customer Service Advisor

Hours: Mon-Thur 8am-5pm, Fri 8am-4:30pm

Salary: Commensurate with Experience

We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Bodyshop Customer Service Advisor based at our head office in Greenock. You will play a vital role in providing administrative support to the bodyshop department. Your exceptional organizational skills and ability to multitask will contribute to the efficient operation of the bodyshop, ensuring customer satisfaction and smooth workflow.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Administrative Support: Provide comprehensive administrative support to the bodyshop team, including managing paperwork, maintaining records, and filing documents accurately and promptly.

Customer Service: Interact with customers professionally, answering inquiries, scheduling appointments, and providing updates on repair progress. Ensure exceptional customer service standards are maintained at all times.

Workflow Coordination: Collaborate with the bodyshop manager to prioritize repair jobs and ensure smooth workflow within the department. Coordinate with technicians and parts departments to facilitate efficient repair processes.

Invoicing and Credit Control: Generate and process invoices for completed repairs, ensuring accuracy and timely submission. Actively chase outstanding debt to ensure it is paid within payment terms

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Previous experience in an administrative role within the automotive industry is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including MS Office Suite and automotive software.
  • Knowledge of bodyshop operations and repair processes is an advantage.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating a proactive and flexible attitude.
  • High level of professionalism and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend availability

Work Location: In person
