CNC Precision are currently recruiting a Welder / Fabricator
Salary £17.00 - £18.00 Per Hour, Plus Overtime & Benefits
Cheltenham

Welder / Fabricator.
We have a new opportunity to join our established engineering company welding medium to large
fabrications up to 10 tonnes in weight.
The successful candidate must be self-motivated, reliable and someone with a positive attitude.

Welder / Fabricator duties will include:

  • Welding
  • Marking out
  • Sawing
  • Grinding and fettling
  • Lifting, manually and cranes

Essential skills of Welder / Fabricator:

  • MIG & TIG Welder, welding of mostly carbon steels with some stainless steel & Aluminium.
  • Coded welding.
  • Use of oxyacetylene
  • Must be able to read drawings, understand welding symbols.
  • Experienced with working on large steel fabrications.
  • Lifting and Handling
  • The ability to work independently under own initiative and as part of a team.
  • Grinding, fettling and weld dressing
