veterinary technician

We are looking for an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse to join the practice near Whiston as Head Veterinary Nurse.

This is a Full-Time permanent position working 40 hours per week with 1:8 weekends.

The role will involve all aspects of nursing as well as the day-to-day running of the practice. This position provides you with the opportunity to develop nursing clinics and use your initiative to promote new ideas; more responsibilities will form part of this role with full support being provided by the nursing team.

The facilities include x-ray, ultrasound, theatre and a kennel room. The practice is having a refurb giving it a nice bright fresh feel, this is scheduled for this year.

As a Head Veterinary Nurse you will be responsible for a variety of nursing duties as well as sharing best practice with your team and helping to support and develop the student nurses in your practice.

Salary and benefits:

Starting salary of £32,500 pa

Generous CPD allowance of £750 and in-house CPD available, plus 2 days CPD leave

RCVS and VDS fees paid
